Found March 21, 2013 on Nationals Enquirer:
So Tim Hudson threw a ~45 MPH Eephus pitch to his buddy Adam LaRoche in the second inning of Thursday night's Nats-Braves game. Everybody got a good chuckle out of it. Turns out the Eephus pitch was actually a knuckleball, LaRoche called for it, and Hudson and LaRoche have "history". Via Amanda Comak of the Washington Times, Hudson likes to mess with LaRoche: And then LaRoche ripped a single to right. Johnson and Francisco to platoon at third for Braves

getty images It will take two men to fill the void left by Chipper Jones in Atlanta. The Braves plan to move forward with a platoon of Chris Johnson and Juan Francisco at third base. Your browser does not support iframes. Justin Upton is one of the most promising young players in baseball, and the Atlanta Braves are hoping he brings the pop he showed in 2011 over with him to his new team. Upton blasted 31 homers and drove in 88 runs with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011. That total went down a disappointing 17 homers in 2012, but Upton left little doubt on Thursday...

Player Profile #23: Stephen Strasburg | SP | WAS

Despite getting shut down two-thirds of an inning shy of his stated 160-inning limit last year, it’s hard to call Stephen Strasburg‘s first season back from Tommy John surgery anything but an outstanding success. Among the 88 pitchers that threw at least 160 innings (89 if you include Strasburg), his 11.2% swinging strike rate ranked [...]
