Eli's MLB Rumors:
I caught up with Rangers manager Ron Washington in the lobby of the Bellagio today and got the impression that the Rangers are still looking to add pitching and have their current pitchers on schedule for 2009. The Rangers have three spots up for grabs in the bullpen, and are working to sign some under the radar pitchers in hopes that they turn around. Washington is very excited to have former Brewers pitching coach Mike Maddux on his staff. "He's one of the best, he's a straight-shooter."A The Rangers are reportedly targeting Casey Daigle, but nothing is imminent. The Rangers are also talking with Ben Sheets, and hope Nolan Ryan can potentially lure Randy Johnson to Arlington as well.A
