According to Manny Ramirez, he’s always wanted to play in Asia Manny Ramirez has been on top of the mountain for the majority of his baseball career. Sure he’s had his “Manny being Manny” moments, but he’s won two World Series and has a plethora of accolades.  Unfortunately for Manny fans, the PED suspensions and controversy that surrounded him at the end of his Major League career, pretty much eliminated him from ever putting on a major league uniform again. Now Manny is 40 years-old and Japan, Mexico, Korea, or any other country didn’t want to take a chance on Ramirez. What makes matters worse is the Taiwan league is filled with corruption, fixed games, scandals and players routinely getting arrested. So for the small price of  $25,000 a month, Ramirez has signed with the EDA Rhinos of Taiwan’s Chinese Professional Baseball League. During his press conference, Ramirez stated that he’s  “always wanted to play in Asia.” I highly doubt that. But who knows,  we are talking about Manny.
