The case for trading Chris Sale

At 37-55, the White Sox are currently 14 games back of the Tigers in the AL Central and 15.5 games back of a Wild Card spot. They are one of the very worst teams in baseball this year, so it was no surprise when Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reported the team was "open for business" last month. They're selling. That "open for business" sign comes with a disclaimer...

Peavy settles down, beats Braves

With scouts from a handful of teams positioned about as close to his catcher as he was, Jake Peavy returned to the mound Saturday for the first time since June 4, showing no sign of being affected by the rib he fractured that forced him onto the disabled list.
