Cardinals starting pitcher Jake Westbrook will be looking

St. Louis Cardinals reliever Jake Westbrook has recovered nicely after a slow start to the 2011 season. Westbrook is 4-3 on the season, but carries a lofty 5.17 ERA and 1.57 WHIP.
But over Westbrook's last two starts, both of which were Cardinals victories, the sinker-baller has shown drastic improvement. Westbrook has tossed 15 innings over his past two outings, allowing just eight hits, six walks, and one earned run.
Westbrook's recent hot streak on the hill was the exact reason the Cardinals gave him a two year, $16.5 million contract this past off-season. The club is relying on Westbrook to eat innings, compete, and give the team a chance to win every single night.
