What a Ride

It was Twins Baseball that propelled Minnesota to 17 wins over its last 21 games, overtake the Tigers and win a fifth AL Central title in eight years. Conversely, it was the absence of Twins Baseball in this series that brought it all to an end. With a 4-1, series-ending victory over the Twins under the Teflon Confines on Sunday, the Yankees completed the season sweep, finally and officially turning out the lights on the Metrodome era.
