It was leaked a while back, but this logo becomes the real deal at 7pm ET today The official unveiling doesn’t happen until 7pm ET, long after the sun has gone down, but in Miami, expect there to be orange sunshine coming from the Marlins. Since early on, we’ve been saying that the rechristened Miami Marlins would be “rainbow-rrific”. In the early summer I was treated to some of the earliest versions of the logo – the “fish and M” that you see here are official. What wasn’t known was what the uniforms might look like, and whether Marlins owner Jeffery Loria might get his favorite color orange into the mix. But, as the leaked image below shows, it’s as reported last week: get ready for a day-glo world in MLB.
