Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after a night in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking. The Padres wasted a brilliant pitching performance from Andrew Cashner in a 2-1 loss to the Dodgers. Cashner gave up just 1 run in 7 innings on 10 hits with 7 K’s, while flirting with 100 mph all night. Yasiel Puig did some Yasiel Puig things for the Dodgers, including striking out with two men on and misplaying a couple of balls in the outfield. Adrian Gonzalez drove in Jerry Hairston Jr for the only run against Cashner, because that’s so Padres. The Padres make their final appearance in 2013 at Chavez Latrine today at 1:10pm PDT, with Tyson Ross going against Clayton Kershaw.
