The Chicago White Sox honored former slugger Frank Thomas on Sunday with a statue in the outfield concourse at U.S. Cellular Field.
The statue was unveiled prior to the team's game against the Boston Red Sox.
A two-time MVP, Thomas played 16 seasons in the Windy City before wrapping up his career with the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays.
Thomas batted .301 with 521 homers, 1,704 RBIs and 1,494 runs scored during his career.
