The Chicago White Sox announced that they have signed Kosuke Fukudome to a one-year. The deal calls for a salary of $500k in 2012 and also includes a club option for 2013 at $3.5mm with a $500k buyout. Fukudome who made his MLB debut with the Cubs in 2008, was traded to the Indians at the most recent trade deadline. In 59 games in for the Indians in the AL Central, Fukudome hit .249 with 5 home runs. In 2011, Fukudome made $13.5mm in the final year of his four year $48m deal.
