Found July 17, 2013 on The Fantasy Fix:
With play resuming Friday, fantasy owners have one question… Which players will help my team reach the playoffs and hopefully, a championship? Out of nowhere, Josh Reddick hit 32 home runs and drove in 85 runs in 2012 helping many owners to just that. Those numbers didn’t go unnoticed in 2013 drafts as Reddick was the 45th outfielder selected with his ADP being 174.8 (according to ESPN.com live draft results). Unfortunately, Reddick hasn’t lived up to his 2012 version. Entering the All-Star Break, he only has four home runs, 32 RBI, while batting .218. Many have bailed on Reddick, dropping his ownership percentage to 28.2 in ESPN leagues and 29% in Yahoo leagues. It’s hard to blame them with Reddick ranking 100th among outfielders according to ESPN’s Player Rater.  Reddick’s season got off to a rough start when he injured his right wrist seven games into the 2013 season chasing a foul ball vs. the Astros. Reddick tried to play through the injury for about a month but finally went on...

The Oakland Athletics: To trade or not to trade?

With the trade deadline quickly approaching, the Oakland Athletics have been pretty quiet. As of now, the Athletics lineup looks pretty solid. It is definitely not necessary for the Athletics to partake in a trade this year...

Bartolo Colon slaps Robinson Cano's son

Is he a steroid user AND a child abuser?

A's are alone atop AL West at All-Star break

The Oakland Athletics are hardly accustomed to playing in first place at the All-Star break. Yet the top spot seems to fit them just fine at the moment - even if it's quite a change for the low-budget club long known for those second-half surges that make for a dramatic September. The A's are all alone atop the AL West at the break for the first time since 1990. And that...

Robinson Cano’s son learned this the hard way, as he was the unwilling recipient of a Bartolo Colon slap to the head as the A’s pitcher gave 2013 MLB Home Run Derby champion Yoenis Cespedes a congratulatory hug. Today in trolling headlines: LA Times gets its Bleacher Report on
