MINNEAPOLIS Ben Revere's call-up back to the big leagues was short-lived. The Twins optioned the outfielder back to Triple-A Rochester after Friday's game to make room for Josh Willingham, who will return Saturday from paternity leave.Revere, who started the season on Minnesota's Opening Day roster, was originally optioned to Rochester on April 14 after getting just 11 at-bats in four games. He was then recalled prior to Wednesday's game against Boston. In his two games back with the Twins, Revere was 3-for-7 with a walk and a double.Willingham's wife, Ginger, gave birth to their third son on Wednesday, and the 33-year-old outfielder was placed on paternity leave. Players are allowed to be gone for up to three days while on paternity leave.Before Willingham left, he was the Twins' hottest hitter, batting .333 with a team-high five home runs and 13 RBI.
