Buster Olney of ESPN, in an article about the possible glut of Boston pitchers, took a look at who could be moved and where they could go.The Red Sox have Matsuzaka returning from the DL and it's believed they will move Masterson to the pen, to make room for him.Clay Buchholz has been nothing short of incredible in the minors and the team might want to make room for him in the major league rotation.At some point they still have John Smoltz returning to fill a spot in either the pen or the rotation, as well.The odd man out appears to be Brad Penny and Olney sees the Mets as a possible fit.With Ollie in the minors and Livan not much of a second half pitcher, the Mets could use some depth in the rotation ( Not sure if Penny is the answer).Penny is a 30 y/o right hander, who has battle injuries over the last few years.
