The New York Yankees are winning.

Understandably, the team is in a win now or no baseball in October place, as they are closer to elimination than postseason contention.
Last nights hero, Jason Nix described what is going right after his post game Gatorade bath.
“I feel like we have a little bit of a jolt to our team. We are playing really, really well.”
Nix hit a game tying homer in the seventh, and the winning single in the ninth in the nightcap to help the Yankees beat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2.
The Yankees swept the Blue Jays in the doubleheader yesterday, which was huge. Heading down the stretch these divisional match-ups are substantial especially for the Yankees, who are trying to stay in playoff contention.
Even with winning eight of their last 10 games, the Yankees still have plenty of work to do sitting seven games out in the AL East and 5 1/2 out in the AL Wild Card race.
