Yankees on fire..why now?a??and not before?

The Yankees have won 10 of their last 11 games. They have played great these past few weeks, but they started to late. It was going to take a miracle run to get past the Sox..and I was as optimistic as I could be. It was nice to see Phil Hughes dominate last night..and he must of felt great ending the season that way. Sure, he didn't get the win, but he knows that he pitched well. As you can see, Girardi is using a bunch of rookies tonight as he said he would. It's nice to see the youngsters get a shot. Pavano is taking the ball tonight, and he will have a big job to do as the Yankees bats will oppose Doc Halladay.
