According to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com, the Yankees have sent down catching prospects, Jesus Montero and Austin Romine. Montero, the Yankees’ top prospect who hit .375/.444/.625 this spring over 8 at-bats, will begin the season in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, while Romine, who hit .182/.182/.182 over 11 spring at-bats, will start the season in Double-A Trenton. Colin Curtis and Reid Gorecki have also been reassigned. And so the cuts continue…
