Cleveland bit the bullet and brought up their future offensive lynchpin this weekend. After going 0-for-3 on Friday, Santana went 2-for-4 with the first home run (of many) in his career. That HR wasn't a fluke -- this guy can hit. He had 20 HRs in 455 High-A at-bats in 2008 before smacking 23 HRs in Double-A last year as a 23-year-old. This season he had already racked up 13 HRs in 196 at-bats before his call-up; pair that with a .316 average this year, and Santana is obviously ready to hit on the major-league level. It's quite telling that Santana hit third in the order in his first two games -- he's already the best hitter Cleveland has.
