By this point, I think it’s pretty safe to say that the majority of Cardinals fan are quite tired of hearing about the troublesome state of their beloved organization. While it’s clearly way too early to give up hope and write the Redbirds off, things are not looking so great. Spring training is supposed to be all about the excitement and anticipation of a new season. So much for that…
Wainwright’s season-ending injury, the lack of a contract extension for Pujols, and the higher level of competition in the NL Central have all left us with many unanswered questions for the 2011 season and beyond. Rather than optimistically attempt to answer these tough questions myself (Something I’ve already done), I’m leaving it up to you this time. That’s right, you!
It is always valuable to get a general sense of how the fans feel, so this is your perfect opportunity to give some input. Are you optimistic, pessimistic, or just plain old realistic? I sure can’t wait to find out.
