New England’s first family, The Brady’s, added another marquee name to their tree this week, as Jen Brady, sister of Tom, announced her engagement to Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis. Youkilis, who is once married already, expressed enthusiasm about the union, stating he hoped his new family, especially “that Brazilian one,” would improve a swinging game that, in recent months, experienced a sharp decline.
