Your browser does not support iframes. If you’re going to bring a glove to the game, you might as well either be under the age of 12 or planning to make a great play. In fact, why not do both? A young Tigers fan had that covered on Tuesday night as he lunged over the bullpen to make a great stab on Austin Jackson’s fourth-inning, game-tying home run against the Twins. The Twins fan who used his glove to make a nice grab a few weeks ago scored points because he was on his cell phone, but at the end of the day he’s a grown man. The play should have probably been made bare-handed. So far this week it’s kids who are doing it big. We already had this amazing popcorn bucket catch and now this. The young fans are on fire.

Cole Hamels pops up in Detroit Tigers trade rumors

It has been rumored that the Tigers may be inquiring into the asking price on Philadelphia Phillies ace Cole Hamels. Hamels is currently 10-4 with a 3.08 ERA and 111 K’s in as many innings for the fightin’ Phils. He is a bona fide ace and would bring a dominant left-handed starter to the Tigers for the first time since, well, since when? Denny McLain? That may not be as far off...

You Guys See The Implants Behind Austin Jackson Last Night In Detroit?

Reader email from Ken in Coon Rapids, Minnesota: “You guys see the dumb Tigers broad flopping out her implants during 5th inn. of last night’s game? Kid Rock’s sister.” Yep, went straight to our MLB TV account and there she was. Kid Rock’s sister flopping out her boobs, but it sure looks like a bikini under that half-shirt to us. Looks like a Detroit entry to have a breast...

Downs reaches majors three years after his skull was fractured

It was a grisly incident, but Detroit Tigers left-hander Darin Downs doesn't mind retelling it. Reaching the major leagues three years after suffering a skull fracture when hit by a line drive "is kind of a feel-good story for me." The tale has not reached its completion yet, but Downs at least has a feeling of accomplishment after making his major league debut...

With the ball cap of their favorite team covering the top of their heads, the young fans are ready to snatch...

Game 2012.83: Twins at Tigers

40-42, 3rd place, 4.5 games behind CWS. JV turned in just the performance that the Tigers needed last night, tossing a complete game 4 hitter in the 5-1 win. Incredibly, he only needed 78 pitches to get through 7 innings, and only because of a few long ABs in the 8th did his pc escalate to 115. JV was efficient early on and pitched to contact, before logging more Ks later in the...

Tigers 7, Twins 3

Prince Fielder hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning to break a tie and Delmon Young followed with a solo shot to lift the Detroit Tigers to a 7-3 win over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday and a split of the four-game series. Miguel Cabrera's RBI single for Detroit in the eighth tied it 3-all. The hit scored Austin Jackson, who tripled with one out before pinch hitter Quintin...

Tigers accomplish rare feat in 7-3 comeback win over Minnesota

Thursday afternoon the Tigers did everything they could to lose the game before the fourth inning. Starter Rick Porcello allowed 12 hits yet only three earned runs before being knocked out of the game in the fourth not by his poor performance but by an errant line drive that struck him. Meanwhile the Tigers bats were silent as those 12 Minnesota hits all came before the Tigers even...
