In their three-game series against the Dodgers that ended Wednesday, Young went 8-for-14 (.571) and scored five of the nine runs the Rockies tallied while winning twice. Young also hit the 13th inside-the-park home run in club history and the first leading off the first inning. Manager Jim Tracy has praised Young for his work ethic, his dedication and ...

Colorado Rockies rookies are giving some signs of hope

Tyler Chatwood was phenomenal on Friday night. The Colorado Rockies 2012 campaign has been nothing short of a train wreck.Despite shipping out five players who were blamed for contributing to a poor clubhouse culture, the Rockies didn't get better, they got worse. Rutledge Productivity and Rockies’ Notes

Colorado Rockies can't sweep Dodgers in LA

No sweep for the Rockies in L.A.The Colorado Rockies had a chance to sweep the Dodgers on Wednesday night in Los Angeles. That didn't happen as the Rockies blew an early 2-0 lead and eventually fell 6-4.A sweep, however, was unnecessary for this team in this series. Get To Know Him: Josh Rutledge

In 2010, the Colorado Rockies drafted SS Josh Rutledge in the 3rd round out of Alabama.  It must be tough when you are drafted by a team that signed their Franchise Shortstop (Troy Tulowitzki) to a 10 year extension, but Josh did not let that bother him.  In his 1st full season at Hi-A Ball he hit .348 with 33 doubles, 9 triples, and 9 home runs, driving in 71 runs.  This...

Todd Helton at the very least should come back for at least another...
