Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. His progress slowed, Clay Buchholz is still not 100 percent and won't throw a bullpen Sunday, thus taking him out of Tuesday's start. "It's getting better every day," said Buchholz. "(But) I'm sort of at a point now where if I was to get off a mound, I think I would regress because I haven't really cut loose with anything playing catch, just for that reason. I don't want to take a step back. I'd rather be at a point where I'm comfortable letting loose.'' Buchholz last pitched on June 8 and felt some stiffness in his neck while twisting to make an awkward fielding play on the mound. "From the beginning, I wasn't really worried about it being something that was going to take a really long time," said Buchholz. "It's definitely going to take longer than I wanted it to take, either way. I'm trying to be as smart as I can with it, keeping everybody in the loop with how it feels, the progression each day. That's where I'm at right now.'' CSNNE: Buchholz still ailing, won't pitch Tuesday DAMMIT! This is getting frustrating. Just put him on the 15-day DL and stop playing this "Buchholz is scratched from his next start" ****. That's pretty much all I have to say about that. Oh, and Mike Napoli went back to Boston to be examined for his nausea and dizziness. On Page 2, Something a little better. The Sox beat Baltimore! It looked to be a long day for John Lackey in the first inning at Camden Yards Saturday. The first four Baltimore Orioles all reached base with hard-hit balls and quickly grabbed a 2-0 lead.     But just as quickly, Lackey turned the day around and allowed just three more hits through the seventh inning in what was probably his second-best outing of the season, leading to a 5-4 Red Sox victory.     The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Red Sox and gave them just their second win in six tries agains the Orioles this year.     The Sox overcame the early 2-0 deficit with a two-run homer from Mike Carp and a run-scoring double from Stephen Drew in the fourth.     Boston added a manufactured run on a single, stolen base, sacrifice and groundout in the fifth and got a solo homer from Jonny Gomes in the sixth to close out the scoring.    CSNNE: Sox finally solve Orioles, 5-4 Who would have thought, at least since 10 years ago, that we would be reading a headline of "Sox finally solve Orioles"? Baltimore is giving the Sox all sorts of trouble and it is frustrating to watch. I have grown such a dislike for this Baltimore team over the past two years. I used to feel bad for them when the Sox would embarrass them year after year, and now I just hate them. As long as Showalter is managing in Baltimore, I will hate that team.
