Zambrano to start Opening Day

Thanks to Suburban Kid for the heads up that the Cubs had decided that Carlos Zambrano would be their Opening Day starter. Carrie Muskat chimes in here (thanks for the link, Vlad). My favorite thing about that is the first comment: We all know that Rich Hill should be the opening day starter. In his absense, though, it should be Dempster. He was our bestest pitcher last year. Zambrano is weerd, anyways. By bestestfanever on March 12, 2009 1:10 PM I’m at a loss for words. Rich Hill? Weerd? Zambrano shouldn’t be the Opening Day starter because he’s “weerd”? Huh?
