(by Mark Hornbaker) Yesterday at AT&T Park 24 year-old Ryan Zimmerman hit streak came to an end at 30 games, as the Nationals beat the San Francisco Giants 6-3. During the game Zimmerman did get on base three times, two time by being walked and in the 9th inning when he hit into a fielders choice. Officially Zimmermanwent 0 for 3 and scored one run. After yesterday's game Zimmerman still leads the National League in hits 51 and total bases 87, and his .357 batting average ranks 5th highest in NL.
