Giants Sign Casilla, Cabrera to One Year Deals
The Giants avoided arbitration with Melky Cabrera and Santiago Casilla today, per Enrique Rojas from ESPN. Cabrera will make 6 Million, which seems a bit higher than what was expected. Casilla will make 2.2 Million with up to $200k more in incentives.
The Giants have 4 remaining players eligible for arbitration: Nate Schierholtz, Sergio Romo, Pablo Sandoval, and Tim Lincecum.

Repotr: Giants ink Cabrera to contract
A person familiar with the agreement tells The Associated Press that outfielder Melky Cabrera and the San Francisco Giants have agreed to a $6 million, one-year contract and avoided salary arbitration.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the deal had not yet been announced.

The Giants Budget is Maxed Out
With the trades for Melky Cabrera and Angel Pagan the Giants final roster situation has solidified a little more. In addition the team has confirmed what I suspected already, that they will go into 2012 with a payroll target of $130 million.
There are still quite a few things left to resolve that could change things but as things stand now there is about $5 million left...
