Alburquerque Undergoes Elbow Surgery, Out Until All-Star Break
The Tigers announced today that reliever Al Alburquerque has undergone elbow surgery and will be out until at least the all-star break. The procedure involved the insertion of a screw into his elbow in order to stabilize a non-displaced fracture.
