The San Francisco Giants signed reliever Clay Hensley to a one-year contract.
The deal is worth $750,000 with incentives for Hensley, who went 6-7 with a 5.19 ERA in 37 appearances (nine starts) for the Florida Marlins last season.
The 32-year-old righthander had an outstanding season in 2010, compiling a 3-4 mark with a 2.16 ERA in a career-high 68 appearances.
