Former Philadelphia Phillies Relief Pitcher Danys Baez Retires

Danys Baez, a relief pitcher who played for six teams in 11 major league seasons, announced his retirement today. Baez last pitched for the Philadelphia Phillies from 2010 to 2011. He was designated for assignment and then released from the team in ’11 after posting a 6.25 ERA in 36 innings pitched. Baez finished his major league career with a 40-57 record, 4.25 ERA, and 114 saves...
