Teaford goes from Omaha to the disabled list
Left-hander Everett Teaford was recalled from Class AAA Omaha by the Kansas City Royals and pumped for a Sunday start against the Diamondbacks. It never happened. Teaford went on the disabled list Saturday with a lower abdominal strain. Neither Teaford nor the Royals know how the injury occurred. "It's just over the course of the day," he said. "There'...

Royals freshen up bullpen after 15-inning loss
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) The Royals have freshened up their bullpen after a 15-inning loss to the Orioles, sending Nate Adcock and Vin Mazzaro to Triple-A Omaha and recalling Everett Teaford and Louis Coleman from the same club.
The Royals made the moves before Thursday afternoon's game against Baltimore, and less than 12 hours after a 4-3 defeat in which Kansas City squandered...

Being a Royals fan takes guts. Teaford sent to Omaha
Mike Pound of the Joplin Globe says, "You got to admire Royals’ fans" in response to their dedication of battling through the recent twelve game losing streak.
Many of us believe the Royals are better than the team's 6-14 record. Many fans even felt like the end of the losing streak meant the inevitable beginning of a long winning streak. Let us hope these eternal...

Two Royals, one pair of pants
Seen here are Kansas City Royals' teammates Everett Teaford (5-11, 155 pounds) and Tim Collins (5-7, 170 pounds) squeezing into fellow 'mate Jonathan Broxton's (6-4, 290 pounds) pants. This photo should end any and all debate on whether or not MLB players take Spring Training seriously.

Competition heats up for Royals rotation jobs
(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) The candidates to fill the final two spots in the Kansas City Royals' starting rotation are different in just about every way.
Especially in size.
There's 165-pound left-hander Everett Teaford, who was a big part of the bullpen during his debut last season. Right-hander Felipe Paulino, all 270 pounds of him, is beginning...

The 2012 Royals Caravan Visits Springfield, Missouri
Southwest Missouri may be St. Louis Cardinals country, but in a Ziggie’s Cafe at the corner of Glenstone and Sunshine in Springfield, Missouri, a dedicated group of around 250 Royals fans showed up to meet and greet current Royals players Aaron Crow, Everett Teaford and Louis Coleman. Joining them were Royals Hall of Famer Willie Wilson, Fox Sports Kansas City broadcaster Joel...
