– According to Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com, the Baltimore Orioles released veteran infielder Miguel Tejada as his request. Tejada, who signed a minor league deal with the Orioles back in May, hit .260/.327/.290 with 18 RBI's and a .617 OPS in 147 plate appearances with the Orioles' Triple-A team.
