Washington Nationals Disable Wilson Ramos, Recall Jhonatan Solano
The Washington Nationals had to place catcher Wilson Ramos on the 15-day disabled list Thursday due to a strain of his left hamstring. To take his place they have recalled catcher Jhonatan Solano from their Triple-A Syracuse minor league affiliate. Ramos suffered this same injury last month and missed a couple weeks. Ramos hurt himself Saturday running out a ground ball in a game against Atlanta. He's batting .300 with two homers and three RBIs in six games.
To fill his space, the Nationals recalled catcher Jhonatan Solano from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.
