A new card-carrying ground ball Indian.
Wow, what a winter it has been for ground ball pitchers! You know times are tough when Livan Hernandez and Jon Garland settle for minor-league deals. At least Garland’s minor-league deal is sensible, as it comes on...

Alright, with there being literally nothing else to talk about, and with the primary just around the corner on March 6 (that will effectively decide the election), today’s as good a day as any to take a quick look at the race for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor, especially since the Plain Dealer ran a series of candidate profiles yesterday by Leila Atassi....

Jon Garland Fits The Alderson Mold
It’s no secret the Mets have been penny pinching this offseason. Between the slew of minimal contracts we’ve offered and the lack of any offer to Jose Reyes, it is evident that Sandy Alderson and the front office are examining the bargain bin rather than the premium shelf to construct this team for 2012.
Despite this, the team is still in dire need of multiple positions – mainly...
