Garland's status with Tribe in limbo
As of Sunday, the Indians were still working through the details of a proposed Minor League contract for Jon Garland, who was expected to be in camp as a non-roster invitee. The two sides agreed to the deal last week, but the final steps to make the signing official remain to be taken.

Indians, RHP Garland agree to deal
Righthander Jon Garland agreed to a minor league deal with the Cleveland Indians, ESPN's Buster Olney reported on Monday.
Garland is coming off season-ending surgery on his injured pitching shoulder in July. He made nine starts last season for the Los Angeles Dodgers, posting a 1-5 mark with a 4.33 ERA in 54 innings.

Indians, Garland agree to contract
The Cleveland Indians have agreed to terms with starter Jon Garland on a minor league contract.
Garland, who had shoulder surgery in July, will take a physical in the next week at the Indians' complex in Goodyear, Ariz. If he passes, he'll sign with the Indians and have a chance to make the club's rotation in training camp.
