Yesterday afternoon, as the Padres’ bullpen lost control for the second time in three days, fans started offering thoughts. They ranged from, “We want Luke Gregerson’s head on a stick” to “WHY IS JOE THATCHER EVEN ON THE TEAM????” I’m paraphrasing but make no mistake fans were upset, myself included.
Then I began to see the name of Kevin Quackenbush getting floated...
