Orioles add Chris Snyder to roster, demote Luis Exposito
The Baltimore Orioles added newly acquired catcher Chris Snyder to the roster on Tuesday. Snyder was acquired from the Angels for pitcher Rob Delaney.
Snyder, 32, will serve as the backup to Matt Wieters while Taylor Teagarden is on the disabled list.
In order to place Snyder on the roster the Orioles sent down Luis Exposito. Exposito was called up when Teagarden initially suffered...

The Baltimore Orioles have claimed catcher Luis Exposito off waivers from the Boston Red Sox. To make room in the roster for Exposito the Orioles designated Josh Bell for assignment.
Exposito is hitting .200/.273/.400 with 1 RBI and a .673 OPS in 10 AB's for the Red Sox's Triple-A team. Bell last played in the Majors in 2011 and hit .164/.215/.164 in 61 AB's.
