Stutes just waits his turn to head for Philly
Michael Stutes basically missed all of last season with a shoulder injury. He also had to head back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in an effort to win back his job with the Phillies. So far, Stutes is doing his part, but still hasn't gotten the call.

MLB Opinion: Why the Phillies Should Keep Aumont Over Stutes
The Philadelphia Phillies are down to just a few decisions before the official 25 man roster is set. One of those decisions revolve around the final bullpen spot. The candidates are Phillippe Aumont and Michael Stutes. Both right handers are capable of getting the job done, but Phillippe Aumont is the right man for the job.
Despite his dismal Spring, on paper Stutes should be the...
Phillies Looking For Outfield Help?
The infield is set. The race for the final bullpen spot is likely down to either Phillippe Aumont or Michael Stutes. But what about the Phillies outfield?
Should the Phils go with Ender Inciarte or look to add someone else to be the fifth outfielder?
Ben Revere and Domonic Brown are locked into everyday spots in center and right. Left field, at least in the short term, will...

The relief crew coughed up a one run lead on Saturday, blew a 4...

Every day this month, we here at Philthy Stuff will be counting down the New Year's resolutions of each member on the Phillies, and what they can do to guide this team back to October. Next up, Michael Stutes.
In late April, the Phillies were in need of some bullpen help. Despite the fact that their rotation was one of the best in history, they were dealt some early blows in...

Stutesy the Silver Lining
The 2011 Phillies Nation Player Reviews continue today, with Michael Stutes…The Phillies entered Spring Training with righthanded relievers aged 23, 24 and 25. The 23-year-old and 25-year-old combined to give up seven runs on eleven hits in seven innings. The 24-year-old let slide a lone run on three hits in nine innings. And on the 24th of April, that 24-year-old got the call...

When did Michael Stutes all of a sudden become Adam Eaton?
Michael Stutes had one bad month in August and all of a sudden everyone is ready to toss him aside like yesterday’s sports page.
This weekend I heard two reporters (David Murphy and some other guy) agree that essentially Stutes is no more than a last resort or a “mop-up” guy.
