According to Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com, here, the Mets have signed 30 year old utility infielder Omar Quintanilla to a minor league deal. Quintanilla finished serving a suspension for 50 games at the beginning of this season for violating the “minor league drug prevention and treatment program.” That doesn’t sound good.
