The Braves took Robert Fish in this year's Rule 5 draft, and he'll compete for one of the coveted bullpen spots (which are scarce at the moment). Fish spent last year with the Los Angeles Angels (after being taken by the Yankees in last year's Rule 5 draft before being returned to LA). Rumor: Yankees take Brad Meyers in Rule 5 Draft
In this morning’s Rule 5 draft, the Yankees took RHP Brad Meyers from the Washington Nationals. The New York Yankees lost no one.
The Atlanta Braves took Robert Fish, the same guy the Yankees drafted in last year’s Rule 5.
Meyers, a right handed relief pitcher, pitched to a 3.48 ERA last season in AAA Syracuse, and gave up 110 hits in 95 innings pitched.

Braves pick LHP Fish in Rule 5 draft
The Atlanta Braves have selected left-hander Robert Fish from the Los Angeles Angels organization in the Rule 5 draft.
The 23-year-old Fish has been used mostly as a reliever over six minor-league seasons with the Angels and gives the Braves another left-handed option out of the bullpen. He was acquired during the winter meetings in Dallas.

Halos have five players taken in Rule 5 Draft
Five players from the Angels' organization were selected in Thursday's Rule 5 Draft. Lefty Robert Fish, who was selected by the Braves, was the only player taken in the Major League phase. Fish posted a 3.26 ERA in 24 appearances at Double-A in 2011.
