A's second baseman Sizemore has left knee surgery
Oakland Athletics second baseman Scott Sizemore has undergone a second reconstructive surgery on his left knee as planned.
The A's say Sizemore had a procedure to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus. The surgery, performed by Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla., was an ACL reconstruction using a patellar tendon graft, the team said.
