Vinnie Catricala is heading home! The Sacramento native was sent from the Seattle Mariners to the Oakland Athletics this morning in exchange for a player to be named. No note on where Catricalla will be sent, but he was batting .253 in the Southern League (Double-A), so you can only expect he’d play for the Midland Rockhounds once assigned.
