3 Of The Best Knockouts From UFC Fight Night: Blanchfield vs. Fiorot Competitors

This weekend's UFC event is brimming with fighters who can put their foes to sleep.

In the main event, submission grappling prodigy Erin Blanchfield will collide with flyweight stalwart Manon Fiorot. Interestingly, both women are currently on a six-fight winning streak in the UFC women's flyweight division. Six-in-a-row is the record for the weight class, meaning a new record will be established at the show unless it ends in a surprise draw.

Also on the card, former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will have his second fight in the Octagon since his horrific leg injury opposite Uriah Hall back at UFC 261. Weidman will look to get back in the winning column opposite the always-dangerous Bruno Silva.

3. Vicente Luque vs. Héctor Urbina - UFC Fight Night 95

UFC Fight Night 95 saw Vicente Luque showcase the true power of his striking when he put Héctor Urbina's lights out at the 1:00 mark of the first round of their clash.

Never one to take it easy or work a slow pace, Luque went gunning after Urbina. Essentially chasing Urbina to the fence with his pressure, "The Silent Assassin" upped the ante as a frazzled Urbina could barely put any adequate defense together.

The death knell came with a right cross that sent an unconscious Urbina to the canvas. The fight marked Luque's third consecutive win in the Octagon and bagged him Performance of the Night honors.

2. Joaquin Buckley vs. Impa Kasanganay - UFC Fight Night 179

Joaquin Buckley pulled an incredible rabbit out of his hat in this unpredictable showdown. Heading into the knockout, it appeared both men were hesitant to go in for the kill.

The pair sized each other up, both lively on the feet without attempting any real striking. That all changed when Buckley went for a left roundhouse kick to the mid-section that was caught by Kasanganay. Despite the awkward situation of having one leg held up by his opponent, Buckley thought fast and turned a negative into a positive.

"New Mansa" spun into a killer back kick that sent a horribly rocked Kasanganay to the floor.

1. Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva - UFC 162

In one of the most shocking moments in UFC history, seemingly unbeatable UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva inadvertently set himself up for a jaw-rattling setback.

Early on in the second round, it appeared "The Spider" was determined to make a fool out of "The All-American." Showboating and mocking Weidman's offense, Silva slickly dodged a head kick, and began goading Weidman into trying to hit him, even putting his hands down away from his chin.

Despite trying to mock Weidman's speed, Silva wound up becoming a victim of it, as "The All-American" clobbered him with a left hand that knocked him off his feet. Weidman then punished Silva on the ground before the referee swept in to call a stop to the bout. The win garnered Weidman Knockout of the Year honors from the UFC.
