A heavyweight battle between former multi-promotion champion Alistair Overeem and former UFC champion Frank Mir has been added to the UFC's 20th anniversary show. Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal broke the news of this bout being added the the main card of UFC 167 just moments ago. Both heavyweights are currently looking to rebound from some tough losses respectively...
I for one, do not believe that this fight was stopped early. When a knee connects to a head, and the body that owns that head flops to the ground… Well, the fight is over. Frank Mir says he was “flash KOd” and fine. Well, flash or not, a KO is a KO in my book. Can we agree on that? If anything, the ref did his job and saved Mir from a lot of punishment.
