The UFC has had a rough time pulling off promotional super fights over the last several years but that could change. The biggest mega fight in the pipeline appears to be itching a little bit closer and it could wind up in all places, New York City.

Jose Aldo says no to farce UFC title fight

Jose Aldo has become my new favorite UFC fighter. After months of ridiculous UFC championship fights Aldo has become the first fighter to put an end to this farce and Dana White is not a happy man.

UFC adds 4 more Women to bantamweight division

The newly formed UFC Women’s bantamweight division has added four more fighters to its fast growing division. UFC president Dana White has announced that the promotion has signed Sarah Kaufman, Germaine de Randamie, Julie Kedzie and Amanda Nunes. All four women are former Strikeforce competitors. UFC ‘Close’ to Pulling Nick Diaz (AGAIN) From Title Fight with Georges St-Pierre

As Yogi Berra unforgettably said, “It’s déjà vu all over again.” Tell me if you’ve heard this before: Nick Diaz (Pictured) finally scores a title fight against reigning UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre. Mr. 209 proceeds to skip multiple pre-fight promotional activities that jeopardizes the scrap. Last weekend, UFC President Dana White revealed Diaz ditched three...

Matt Riddle Fired From UFC Following Second Failed Marijuana Test

It’s never a good time to fail a drug test, but with the UFC looking for reasons to fire fighters, Matt Riddle (Pictured) couldn’t have picked a worse time to flunk ANOTHER screening for marijuana. Riddle revealed to MMAJunkie Radio Tuesday that he has been released from the planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion following his second positive exam in three bouts. ...

It was lucky number 7 for UFC bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey (Pictured) on Saturday night. Seven professional fights in the books, all ending in first round armbar fashion. Rousey’s latest victim came in her heavily-hyped big league debut. Liz Carmouche presented the “Rowdy” one with a brief scare early, but Rousey managed to throw her off and lock in her trademark armbar...

Talking Tuf with Denise Tracey (Episode 6)

I had high hopes for this episode, coming on the heels of Bubba’s defeat last week.  It was time for his power twin, the self-styled “leader” Josh Samman, to put up or shut up.  I don’t really have anything against Josh Samman.  Unlike Bubba, this season’s “man you love to hate,” he seems like a decent guy.  But if he really wants to be a leader, he needs to take...
