Angela Hill to Face Luana Pinheiro at UFC Fight Night Event on May 18

A women’s strawweight clash pitting Angela Hill against Brazil’s Luana Pinheiro has been added to a UFC Fight Night event scheduled to go down on May 18 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The matchup was first reported by MMAjunkie.com. Other announced matchups on the Fight Night card include Vanessa Demopoulos vs. Emily Ducote and Hailey Cowan vs. Tamires Vidal.

Hill (16-13) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Denise Gomes in November and has gone 3-1 in her last four promotional outings. The 39-year-old has squared off against some of the biggest names in the division over the years, including former champions Rose Namjunas and Jessica Andrade.

Pinheiro (11-2) is coming off her first Ultimate Fighting Championship loss against Amanda Ribas this past November. The Round 3 technical knockout loss against Ribas snapped the Brazilian's nine-fight winning streak that included wins over the likes of Michelle Waterson-Gomez and Sam Hughes.
