Bellator 106 took place on Saturday night in Long Beach, California with Eddie Alvarez defeating Michael Chandler in the rematch to regain the Bellator lightweight title in the main event. BetweenTheRopes.com requested and was able to receive the post-fight medical suspensions from the California State Athletic Commission. Alvarez after briefly attending the post-fight press conference went to the hospital, complaining of nausea. Chandler received an undisclosed amount of stitches backstage after the fight.
