The coveted free agent kicked things off with a bang by posting a quick TKO victory over Przemyslaw Mysiala in January. However, Lawal was derailed in the light heavyweight tournament semifinals when Emanuel Newton put him to sleep with a flashy spinning back fist. King Mo redeemed himself on Wednesday night with a one-punch KO on Seth Petruzelli in the opening round of their tango at Bellator 96.
