According to UFC president Dana White, reigning middleweight king Anderson Silva will be the biggest Georges St-Pierre (Pictured) fanboy when he’s sitting front row watching UFC 154, despite the fact the event jumps off in GSP’s backyard of Montreal. Guess who couldn’t care less about “The Spider’s” presence? “Well, there’s no doubt Anderson Silva’s showing up there to cheer Georges St-Pierre on,” White stated during Wednesday’s conference call. “He wants him to win this fight and he wants to fight him after. So, I would say yes, [there might be a post-fight call out if St-Pierre beats Carlos Condit]. ” The rumor mill has been buzzing for the past several months that if GSP makes a triumphant return, the blockbuster bout between he and Silva could be arranged sometime towards the beginning of 2013. What do you think about the prospects of a super-fight with Silva and the fact the Brazilian is traveling across the border to scout you in person, Georges? “I don’t care about Anderson Silva, he can do whatever he wants,” St-Pierre deadpanned. “He can go to Florida or stay in Brazil if he wants. I’m focusing on Carlos Condit, that’s all that matters to me.” While St-Pierre has his sights set squarely on Condit, it hasn’t stopped Silva and his camp from publicly requesting a tango with the baddest 170-pounder in bare feet. As far as White’s concerned, arranging a fantasy fight between Silva and St-Pierre would certainly be good for business. However, he cautions that a certain roadblock in Condit needs to be cleared before anything concrete happens. Regardless, that doesn’t mean he’s not just as intrigued as everyone else. “Guys, understand this fight between Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre is a pound-for-pound fight,” White added. “These guys have both been #1 and #2, either way you want to call them, for the last however many years. And that’s really what this fight is all about.” UFC 154 takes place November 17th inside Bell Centre in Canada.
