PLAYERS: Ed SoaresJon Jones
Of course Anderson’s manager would like to see him fight Georges because that is a huge payday and a much more winnable fight for the middleweight as opposed going up and fighting the light heavyweight champ Jon Jones.  Even though Anderson is the best fighter in the world I still think both GSP and Jones would beat him.  Either way I hope the UFC makes a super fight next for Anderson if he is able to get past Weidman on Saturday. Anderson Silva does not think he could beat Jon Jones

Anderson Silva and Jon Jones are widely considered to be the top two pound-for-pound fighters in MMA. They have each expressed reluctance to fight one another despite calls for them to meet. Jones, a light heavyweight who may eventually move up to heavyweight, has said he will not move down in weight. He also said [...]

Anderson Silva thinks Jon Jones would win super fight

Anderson Silva has been publicly negotiating with the UFC for a fight with Jon Jones for months. Silva’s latest twist is telling fans that he doesn’t think he can beat Bones, a statement that many are seeing as nothing more than public negotiating.

Anderson Silva: I Don’t Think I Can Beat Jon Jones

And there you have it. Today at a luncheon in Burbank, California, reigning UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva (pictured) admitted what many in the MMA community have been thinking ever since this whole superfight subject came to light – a 38-year-old Silva would likely lose to 25-year-old UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones if they met inside the Octagon. “Jon Jones, in...

Anderson Silva is officially not afraid of Jon Jones.

Why oh why Anderson are you so confusing. Every time someone asks you a question you respond with a riddle. It’s frustrating. I just want to know what’s going through that shiny, bald head of yours. I think I deserve that much. I mean, just yesterday you were saying this: “Jon Jones, in his class, is the best, if I fight Jon Jones, I don’t think I’m going to win.” ...

Once again, according to Dana White, Anderson Silva will finally get a megafight against GSP or Jon Jones if he wins his next match. Can we believe him this time?

Anderson Silva: ‘I’m Not Scared of Jon Jones’

Reigning UFC middleweight king Anderson Silva may have admitted earlier this week that he would probably lose a superfight to UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones (pictured), but that doesn’t mean Silva is scared, homie. Some fans thought Silva threw out the compliment to try and play head games with Jones, who is 13 years Silva’s younger. Others felt Silva dropped the flattery...

Anderson Silva On Jon Jones

Anderson Silva was asked this past Monday at a media luncheon about his thoughts of a potential superfight against Jon Jones. His humble answer surprises many. “Jon Jones, in his class, is the best. If I fight Jon Jones, I don’t think I’m going to win. Jon Jones is different. He’s large. He’s young. But, [...]

The Road To UFC 162: Anderson Silva Isn’t Really Sure If He Could Beat Jon Jones

(via Getty Image)One of my favorite things about the week leading up to any huge UFC championship fight is the eventual random quote that has nothing to do with the fight at hand and completely distracts everyone. Specifically, it’s the chatter about superfights, and the questions are brought up any time that Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva are about to fight, because...
