It’s just another manic Monday for Mike Swick (Pictured). Only hours after announcing he had inked a four-fight contract extension to remain with the UFC, the planet’s most prestigious mixed martial arts promotion reported the welterweight will meet Matt Brown at “UFC on FOX 5.”
A heavyweight shootout between Lavar Johnson and Brendan Schaub was also confirmed for the Octagon’s return to Seattle.
In addition, two canceled UFC 151 bouts were transitioned to the December 8th show. Daron Cruickshank vs. Henry Martinez, as well as Tim Means vs. Abel Trujillo have once again found another home.
It’s likely all four fights will appear in the card’s prelims.
Key Arena in Washington hosts the festivities.
FOX broadcasts the main bouts live beginning t 8PM ET/5PM PT.
