Francisco Trinaldo Calls Out Mike Perry for BKFC Clash
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Francisco Trinaldo is looking to venture into bare knuckle boxing following his release from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The UFC parted ways with the former welterweight competitor after a decision loss against Randy Brown in October 2022. “Massaranduba” racked up a 18-8 promotional record over the course of a decade with wins over the likes of Paul Felder, Jim Miller and Bobby Green.

Trinaldo is now looking to dip his foot into bare knuckle boxing and wants to make his debut against Mike Perry, who is arguably one of the biggest draws in the sport today. Perry has made quite a name for himself in recent times under the the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) banner with wins over the likes of Luke Rockhold and Michael Page.

Trinaldo claims he wanted to fight Perry during their UFC days but “Platinum” was always handpicking his opponents.

“I can’t want to beat up this a—hole. I’m sure I can go to BKFC and put a beating on him,” Trinaldo recently told MMAFighting.com . “He keeps saying there’s no man out there to fight him, yet here I am. I can’t wait, man. I think that’s a good fight. It would be a bloody fight. I won’t make things easy for him. I was born for this. His boxing is good, but I know mine is better.

“BKFC will pay me good money, because people want to see me in there after my career in the UFC,” Trinaldo added. “I’ve had a lot of fights in the UFC, and now I want to fight at BKFC. And I’m coming for Mike Perry.”
