Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp made a very exciting announcement mid-way through tonight's Invicta FC 2 free live stream over at invictafc.com. The titles are coming. And they are coming very soon. October 6th to be exact. The main event of Invicta FC 3 will take place in the 135 lb division. The winner of tonight's main event between Shayna Baszler and Sara McMann (should they come out unscathed) will get a shot at whichever bantamweight the promotion has in mind. Expect that to be decided later tonight.

The co-main event of the evening will be for the 105 lb. strap. Jessica Penne (9-1) and former Jewels featherweight queen Naho Sugiyama (8-0) will vie for the first ever Invicta FC title in what will be a historic contest. This event will likely take place at the same setting of the first two Invicta cards, the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, MO.
